The school was founded in 1969 by the late industrialist-philanthropist Shri. Gopalkrishna Singhania in memory of his wife late Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania. Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School is located in the lush green surroundings of Jekegram in the heart of the city of Mumbai With a humble beginning with 400 students today the school houses more than 6700 students from KG to Std. 12 and IB DP and 400 plus staff members. The school is an unaided linguistic minority institution run by the Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School Trust. The school’s motto is “Offer equal opportunities to all so that they could rise to their fullest potential”

    "One of the most recognised and highly ranked school at JK gram thane. School has big campus with sports ground for cricket, football,basketball and badminton etc.School has very clean and cultured inside decor with all facilities like study library, practical lab etc. Teacher staff is cordial and supportive to children."

    "The admission process in this school is done on a fraud basis. They ask common people to apply for admission and when the results of admission are declared they will not provide admission because the child name is reflecting 2 times as 2 applications from which they add one appication so that in future if any inquiry is conducted on this school to check admission process then they can show that the form was filled 2 times but actually the form has been filled one time only by the parent because the parent has paid ₹1000 for admission which is non refundable and collecting and no parents will fill form 2 times. I had sent an email also to the school but they never replied on that email. Which child will get admission in the school is already fixed and when the parents of child complain then they will show that the 2 application form was filled twice hence the same was rejected. The whole school is fraud and a big time scammer. If any one fills the the application form and when admission results are declared you can check the serial number provided by this school. For example if your genuine application number is 4250 the randomly type number 4251 or 4249 and you will see another application in the same name for the child."

    "Its one of the top schools in Thane. The school nourishes all round development of the kids not just focusing on studies but other activities and sports as well. Many events are held throughout the year to help the kids ideas grow. It follows ICSE portion that is way different and better from the regular state board portion most schools have."

    "School with lot of attitude...it may be one of the good institute in Thane,but the staffs are not approachable and their admission procedure is also not clear.I have visited the campus once for my kids admission but entry was not dere may be that's the protocol still feel odd as entry till office is allowed in many schools for parents to understand the infra and all.Also we were guided to search online.In online also we were not able to find much details we are looking for hence we called the school after some attempt a lady took the phone and she seems to be less interested in sharing details also felt like arrogant.i don't know why these kind of school shows such kind of attitude , neither they are giving free education nor we are asking for the same."
