This co-educational English medium school was established as a result of the inspiration of Sri Vijay Bahadur Singh who was by profession a high court advocate. He was also a great patron of education. Since 1970, he founded many schools in various places including Naihati and Jagatdal, for the poverty stricken people who could not afford good education for their children. Mr. Vijay Bahadur Singh expired in 2004 leaving behind a huge vacuum in our hearts. Mr. Vijay Bahadur Singh left his able son, Mr. Viplov Kumar Singh, a businessman and entrepreneur by profession, to carry the legacy forward.
