The school was started in 1961 as an English Medium Co- Educational School. The school is recognized by the Educational Department of the Govt. of West Bengal. Efforts are being made to open Higher Secondary Department. Ideals and traditions have been built up through the years and the school trains the students to become useful citizens of our motherland, India. For facilitating individual attention, the number of pupils in a class is limited. Special attention is given to the moral tone and discipline of the School. The school's Golden Jubilee year (2010-2011) is being celebrated on significant days like Foundation Day (21st February). Mother's Birthday (8th July) The Birth Anniversary of Founder President Himangsu Niyogi . Annual Function and Prize Distribution ceremony.

    "I had read in this school from kg-class 10. I was a student of this school. I have spent most beautiful time of my life here. The morning teachers of this school are very kind and treat us like their own child. The morning section is very disciplined(5 out of 5 in my opinion). Upto class 5 everything was good and well disciplined. But the problem came when i got promoted to class 6( day section). The teachers of the day section (not all but most) were not so much interested to maintain strict discpline like morning section among students. So from class 6 the so called bad boys of our class became more rough and tough and they also spoilt some innocent boys(atleast 1 boy i know could've been saved). Anyways,time kept passing like this until came the time of covid 19(i was in class 9 then). School became more hungry for money at that time. They were illegally charging fees like developmental fees inspite of the orders from the calcutta high court. I decided at that time only that i'm not going to stay in this school after 10th.After corona,when the school opened, (i just went for half a month in offline class as after 2 month our board exams were coming so i was staying and preparing my studies from my home only)i was shocked to see the condition of the boys bathroom. Most of the things were broken,and the disgusting smell of p** was coming from everywhere(i mean why they've taken the development fee from us if they don't bother to repair or even clean the toilet?) . They were just hungry for money. They told that we have to clear fees till april'22 to appear in board exams.But still, of my life here. Most of the valuable moments of my childhood are spent here,they're stored among the walls,stairs and play ground. We used to have lot of fun in the classes of kakali mam,souptik sir,soma mam,jayasree mam😂. Morning teachers like rakhi mam and jaysree mam are my favourite. And oh,how could i forgot about the pt classes😂taken by jayanta sir. Anyways,so my last opinion is if you want to take admission in the morning section of this school(nursery-class 5),i would DEFINITELY recommend you to take admission in this school, as the teachers are great and it's pocket friendly too for middle class families. But in case of taking admission in day section(class 6-12),i can tell you to think twice about your decision,because most of the teachers are like migratory birds in day section (morning teaching staff are fixed they didn't change for last 6 yr )and due to lack of discipline. And in class 11-12 there is no proper lab facility but they're gonna charge you a lot for that if you take any lab based subject. So think twice before making your decision(i would give 1.5 marks out of 5 for the day section). I have seen such incidents in the day section which i can't write here . Even after the boards after i got promoted to class xi ,i wrote a application for a TC so that i can go to another school they were not giving it and were giving excuses every day like that the principal has not came today so come tomorrow,principal will come after 2.30(even if the principal has come), tomorrow is holiday in school etc. Please pardon me for any grammatical errors and the last thing i want to say is: Jayanta sir, may your soul rest in peace(he just passed away recently in the beginning of july 2022. He worked more than 20 yrs in our school) Thank you if anyone is reading this review still now with patience and i'm sorry if i hurt anybody somehow with this review."

    "School administration is not good. The quality of teaching is also not up to the mark. Student-Teacher ratio is not followed. During Covid-19 some recorded lessons are sent through Whatsapp and there is no live classes. Still school is asking for Annual Development Fee. I guess what development they had done in the closed school. I wouldn't recommend any one to this school. No option to give 0 star so given 1 star."

    "This is my childhood playschool. It is located near Hazra more in South Kolkata. Previously one can studied upto class VI. Now the school have secondary division. I have some nostalgic feelings about the school. The school has a sleeping class for nursery students which was quite new at that time."
