    "Hi! I’m a former student of JDS Howrah. Having studied in this school for more than 10 years, I can proudly affirm that this school shaped me into who I am today. It’s been some time since I left the happy confines of this school but even now when I’m pursuing my MBBS from a government medical college, it still fills me with nostalgia to look back at the good old days spent in this school. Today, however, I was shocked to find a review on this platform against two of my beloved teachers- Sumana Debnath ma’am and Aparna Upadhyay ma’am. I happen to know both of them personally and I assure you that they are both the best of human beings and are incapable of doing any of the things that have been alleged against them in my humble opinion. I even have had the honour of being a student of Sumana ma’am for all of my middle and high school and the memories I have of her are ones I look back at with fondness. The way she interacted with us and promoted harmony amongst ourselves is what always moved me. I am still in touch with Sumana ma’am and she still continues to be incredibly supportive even today. Teachers like Sumana ma’am, Aparna ma’am, Anup sir and Bairagi sir are absolute pillars of this school and have played momentous roles in what we are, not only as students but also as humans today.     "The school is decent. It follows ICSE and ISC curriculum. The school has great potential. However, the current Class XI Science batch only has 20 students, whereas other nearby schools like AIS has six sections and more than 250 students studying in Class XI. It could be because the students of the present generation prefer CBSE to CISCE. CBSE syllabus is truly less burdensome and more analytical. Mr. Regdor James Armstead was truly a great person and a wonderful leader. It was so unfortunate that he had to leave."
