    "Govt. Sponsored Multipurpose School (Boys), Taki House Address - 299/B, A.P.C. ROAD, KOLKATA - 700009 This is a govt. sponsored school popularly known as Taki Boy's is one of the iconic govt. school of Kolkata as well as in West Bengal. Bengal Govt. conducts different psc exams in this school also. Their management is more or less ok. Usually they open main gate just 30 mins before the exam which I think should be a little bit earlier. Also they provide question paper and OMR sheet just 5 to 10 mins before the starting of the exam which also should be a little bit earlier like other govt. exams. Apart from that they provide the roll number wise floor and room allotment just outside the main entrance, so one can easily check their allotment earlier. The premises is little bit old but neat and clean and so the rooms are. Also candidates can keep their bags inside the premises during the exam. Teachers and supporting staffs are also kind hearted and helpful. How to reach this destination : This place is just opposite to Sealdah ESI Hospital. After crossing the Sealdah station main overbridge just travel a little more towards Rajabazar and take the stop at Sealdah ESI. South Kolkata people (Behala, Thakurpukur area) can consider S3A (Thakurpukur to Sealdah), S3B (Behala 14 no to Kakurgachi), Behala Rajabazar Mini or 235 (Amtala to Rajabazar) to reach this destination. Stop will be Sealdah ESI Hospital. People coming from Howrah Railway Station can consider any bus towards Rajabazar or Sealdah. Like : C-24 (Howrah Maidan to Sealdah/Rajabazar), 44 (Howrah stn to Baguihati), 44A (Howrah to College More) etc. Stop will be Sealdah ESI Hospital. People coming from Esplaned area can consider any bus towards Rajabazar. Like : 30B (Babughat to Gouripur via Esplaned), 79D (Babughat to Madhyamgram via Esplaned), 235 (Amtala Rajabazar via Esplaned), 260 (Alipore Zoo to Aquatica via Esplaned) etc. Nearest railway station : Sealdah Railway Station From Sealdah station it's a 10-12 mins of walking distance of 1 Km. Just follow the Map. Nearest Metro Railway Station : Sealdah Metro Railway (East West Metro) (but currently it's not connected with Esplaned or Howrah). So, don't go for this metro route. But people coming from Sector V area can consider this metro route cause currently it is running only between Sealdah and Sector V via phoolbagan, Bengal Chemical, Saltlake Stadium, City Center, Karunamoyee. Check Metro Ride Kolkata App before boarding and be confirm whether it is running on weekends or not."

    "As because they are Govt sponsored so their management to conduct exams are not so good. They open the main gate only 25 - 30 mins before the starting of the exam and give the OMR sheet only ten minutes before the exam which is very bad because to fill the OMR one need atleast 10 - 15 min so there is a waste of 5 - 10 min already when the exams are already started and After finishing the exam also they take very much time to open the main gate."

    "Popularly known as Taki Boy's or Taki House (Boy's) was one of the iconic schools of Kolkata as well as West Bengal especially till class X. The students used to not only get Stands in Madhyamik exams almost every year but also almost 50-60% students used to get stars and almost 100% students passed in 1st division in past 3-4 decades. But, off late due to change in dynamics like lottery system entrance, lower demand in Bengali mediums in Kolkata is declining performance of the students like other iconic Government sponsored schools in Kolkata."
