About Calcutta Airport English High School | KOLKATA

Calcutta Airport English High School is an english medium school, located at Gate No. 2 of NSCBI Airport on Jessore Road. The school is about 65 years old and is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Pre-Primary and Primary section is held in the morning shift from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. However Pre-Primary children leave earlier. The secondary and higher secondary section is held from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Three exams are held in a year. 1st term, 2nd term and final term. Promotion depends on the avaerage of all three terms. Unit test is held in secondary section. Events like Annual Sports, Saraswati Puja, Independence Day is celebrated every year.

    "I have been a student of this school for the last 12 Years. I got admitted in nursery in 2012 and I passed Madhyamik in 2024. During this long experience it has been the best part of my life. I have been with the most best teachers over here. They really not only just guided us but also helped us like no other. The environment is too good for studies. The faculty is also very good. The method of teaching is very helpful. Even students interest in sports will also fit in this school because the school Even supports rich sports background. I would really thank every one of the teachers, friends, seniors, and juniors of caehs for making my experience of 12 years so memorable. I really miss the place a lot .     "Good school and very good teaching staffs. This school is from pre-primary to higher secondary. That means from Kindergarten to 12th standard. The school falls under West Bengal Board of Education. It's located in near Kolkata Airport Gate 2. The campus is well placed and right on Jessor Rd, visible and well communicated. Schools follows West Bengal education syllabus, it's difficult than CBSE or ICSE. The school have a good track record in Madhyamik i.e. Secondary and Higher-Secondary examination. Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, and do give individual attention. However there been some undesirable situation recently, like hitting a child. But that's been taken care properly. All in all its a good school without any unnecessary fuss, with good teachers and education system. Also it's fees are lesser than any other English medium school in nearby location.     "I spent 8 years in this school and made memories that i wish to forget. When i was in school some of the teachers were really nice but the rest of them were just cruel, not-helpful and didn't help the weak students. A few of the teachers looked like they didn't even wanna be there. If you wish to genuinely give your children a traumatic experience.... Then this is the best school for you.
