Opening of glenhill School, Konnagar(W.B) was a long awaited dream of an educational saint(the founding father) Shri Ratnakar Pandey. In the month of August,2004 he laid foundation stone with a view to cater the best educational need of the locality as well ass the wards of our beloved people of konnagar and as well ass that of other parts of West Bengal. The school periodically provides Doctor's care to assess the hygienic condition of the students .Eye check up & teeth check up are periodically done and on the basis of the report ,our staff members guide the students to bring up healthy habits of brushing up the teeth and washing their eyes

    "I really don't understand how students and guardians are happy with this school.. don't trust 5 star ratings as all those were given by the students who take tutions from some teachers of this school and those students who are treated well .. this school shows lots of partiality some teachers behave like toppers are only the students paying fees and others are studying for free .. accept a few teachers all other are totally rude especially the receptionists .. it is banned in India to raise hand on a student or slap him or her but one of the receptionist ,l am not going to mention her name she is super rude to all the students and even to some guardians she slaps the juniors on silly matters and the the younger kids are afraid to inform this to any of the coordinators or principal ..receptionist themselves say to come to school and collect the notes of various subjects but when the gaurdian goes to school they behave so rudely they ask the gurdian to wait for at least an hour and even say to come in lunch period and when the guardian comes in lunch period they say to come in 6 or 7th other periods.. the principal only shows the neat and clean parts of the school like playground ,laboratories and computer lab but they do not there to show the classrooms of the students because the classrooms are very dirty,benches are broken at some parts and the benches of the school I totally dirty filled with pen inks and marker writings .. most of the times the light in the classrooms doesn't work properly they give a feeling of horror movies and even the fans don't work properly .. the washrooms are so dirty they are not cleaned properly washroom are cleaned in such a way that water always flows on the ground.. the water purifier in the first floor is filled with rust.. The only place we can find neat and clean is principle office.. the principal is getting playgrounds and assembly hall painted but not the classrooms.. the food served in canteen is a wastage of money ..they give you Vada pav in name of burger and even there is no Vada it's just a potato ball , they serve Puri sabji but in the sabji there is no potato it's just water.. in simple words canteen robs your money .. Now comes the teachers and their teachings:- 1. Most of the teachers in the school don't have a degree 2. All the good teachers of the school left just because rude behaviour of principal 3. Except two or three teachers rest all don't have any kind of experience 4. The teachers give you homework and class work to write in your copy which is already written in the book so it's a waste of time 5. The principal doesn't want teachers to be friendly with the students , so even when the teacher loves to be friendly with the students they have to behave very rashly 6. When the teachers dictate the answers or give extra questions if non-favourite students ask to repeat once more the teacher shouts"
