    "Pretty mediocre school. The infrastructure is good though. I know the school very well. The teaching staff has a mix of both inexperienced and experienced teachers. So the inexperienced teachers are problem makers. Plus, there is no proper management. Communication is mediocre. Like if you go to them with some issue, they try to find ways to divert the issue but never accept even a single mistake. Like if you ask them, why did my son not get his tiffin box for lunch when I submitted it at the gate, they will ask you some questions to try hard and prove that you are at fault. The school lacks competitive spirit. Like they collect fees for Olympiad but they never put effort on making sure that the kids are getting good grades especially with pre-primary school kids. So I initially was paying money for my kids but later on, when I found that they don't spend any time on kids, I asked my kids to stop writing the exam. They are not diplomatic when dealing with children issues. They tag kids as mischievous or something else. The only good thing is, they have a big ground but they don't use it well enough. I don't think the kids represent the school anywhere in sports outside of school but I am not sure about this. At least I haven't heard anything so far. Only, the director madam is the person you can talk to who is constructive and I feel she understands the bigger implications but all others are focused on saving their own image more than the school image. I wish that they address these issues. That is the reason why I am writing everything here so that they can read this and work on these issues. Everyone in life has to learn accepting their mistakes. If they don't, the life will never change. And no matter at what level you are in a school, its hard to gain respect from parents."

    "One of the best schools for children. My son has been studying here for the last 5 years. I still remember the first time I was called to school to meet the staff / management. I was expecting a laundry list of complaints, instead she asks me "How can I keep your boy happy in school". She added that the most important thing was that she wanted all the children to be happy in school. - This alone convinced me that I couldn't find a better school for my child. All the teachers take personal interest in the children and work with them instead of finding fault with them The school has always been open to suggestions from parents and on multiple occasions I have had one to one discussions with the teachers / management regarding my child's progress. The focus at the school is not just on academics but on all round development of the children and a totally non-commercial approach to schooling And most importantly provides a safe and comfortable environment for the child during their early years."

    "This is based on my experience at this school: There is no other option less than 1 star. Had there been a zero star, i would have selected it. The school is very much mediocre and is interested only in fees. They collect two months fees at once (during February for February and March inclusive). No ethics. Their only interest is minting money. They declare a holiday for slightest of the reasons. They even organize festivals like kite flying (Jan 2020). Their motto was to sell food at exorbitant rates. There was no one to guide the children on how to fly kites at school. They organized a fate at this kite flying festival and were selling pretty much mediocre food at exorbitant prices. Just beware of this school. You will repent later."

    "Kotwal's a name that spreads smiles across our kids faces. I have known Kotwal's school since the time I was in school(1992 batch SSC from St.Patrick's high school a Jesuit Institution) and I remember Kotwal's as one among the few top notch schools in the twin cities. With a history of more than 60 years the school has stood the test of time in providing quality education and nurturing kids into responsible citizens of the society. We as a family share a special bond for the past 12 years with the Kotwal High School as both our children are students of this institution. Our son completed his 10th standard and daughter is still studying here. We are always especially happy when we talk about our kids education and the reason being Kotwal's. A state of the art institution and an exceptionally efficient management that heads this institution. We stand testimony to the school's consistent efforts in ensuring the students are groomed not only to excel in academics but also in extra curricular and societal activities. The management especially ensures the teachers are always equipped with up to date information and training so that they impart the best knowledge to the children. We see regular workshops being conducted for teachers of this school and it is ensured that the teachers up skill themselves with modern/efficient teaching methods. Coming to the students part, our wards are always given opportunities to partake in various socio-cultural and extra curricular activities ensuring they gain knowledge on many other avenues apart from their regular syllabus. It gives me immense pleasure to write this review about this esteemed institution and we are glad to have found such a platform to convey our gratitude to this superb school that helps our wards in becoming responsible citizens of this society. Though this is a long review that many may not read completely, I would like to list out few events that my daughter took part along with her batch mates to proclaim the efforts of this school to ensure the overall development of children. Olympiads, inter school competitions(showing below are the recent pics from the IIHM YOUNG CHEF INDIA SCHOOLS JUNIOR competition 2019-2020) , festival events at school celebrations marking festivals irrespective of religion imbibing a tenet of "Equality" among the children, visits to Police stations, colonies/societies. The list is endless and this is too small a platform to enlist the achievements or efforts of this school. However, last but not the least...just like a few passing clouds cannot camouflage the Sun's glory, a novice's opinion cannot tarnish the image of this esteemed institution."

When I went for admission in kotwal's I noticed that higher grade(IX,X SPECIFICALLY)students are unmeasured So, only request to new admission students please don't waste your time and feacture in kotwal's High School Government School is much better than Kotwal's High School.😴"
