About Adamas International School | M.M. FEEDER ROAD | BELGHARIA | KOLKATA

Adamas International School is a co – educational day boarding school nestled in the Eastern Periphery of Kolkata and established by Sachis Kiran Roy Memorial Trust. Parallel to the day boarding also runs a day school. A need for an academic institution to nurture young talents with a state-of –the –art facilities and develop the skills to face the challenges of modern society initiated the Trust to set up AIS. With the Paradigm shift in Education the school’s thrust is to develop the skills to face the challenges of modern society and to provide a comprehensive education which will create creative, logical, analytical and innovative minds. It was the vision of Sri Sachis Kiran Roy who dreamt of an educational system that would slowly germinate the seedlings thus nurtured will reap fruits for the future. We hope that in this endeavour to spread knowledge we grow from strength to strength.

    "If you just bring in a celebrity you might get praise, but honestly you're only making money with poorly trained teachers and bad facilities. Your school does not provide good educational facilities, it is just a rotten place. Students are doing their best with their own support system, by taking extra tutoring at home, where you guarantee that students don’t have to take further private tuition at home. But they have to do it because your teachers are in a hurry to finish the syllabus and finish it fast. I went there myself and the admission team was so busy talking about money and admission process that one child went to the playground alone and we had to go there and find her. In that room there were almost 10-12 people, they were not even bothered. This kind of facilities you get from this school. Zero rating to Adamas, go to other schools and parents who want to get admitted here in this big slum group, then you can waste your money on the low quality of education provided by this school."

    "Honestly this school is just focusing on making money with poorly trained teachers and bad facilities. Adamas fails to provide good educational facilities. I went there for my granddaughter admission and she went out while we were discussing about the admission process. Trust me in that room there were almost 10-12 people, they were not even bothered. When we went to other schools, they had female help to take care of the child while parents are busy understanding the admission process. But in Adamas no one is there only well spoken with money collecting machine's were setup. Zero rating to Adamas, go to other schools and parents who want to get admitted here in this big slum group, then you can waste your money on the low quality of education provided by this school."

    "Wish I could give zero stars to this school. If you want to waste your time and you have enough money to waste then consider enrolling your ward into this god forsaken place. There are two divisions- ds and db, the ds children are treated so bad, honestly comparing the price their parents pay for their children's learning is a shame considering the facilities which are provided. The school's washroom is so tiny, the school chairs are broken and the worst thing is that ds students are always being discriminated, of course their parents pay more money so they can get more facilities but the selection for a school program is always selected upon the basis of whether you are a ds or a db student, a more talented ds child gets rejected and a db child with not the necessary skill set gets selected, it's almost embarrassing how the school is teaching the ds students the power of money and the privilege of it. If the school doesn't change it's way know that the school had it's downfall coming ...."

    "Despite the extremely high fees, the school can't even provide enough electricity to run the old, slow fans during exams, leaving students to suffer in the sweltering heat. No classrooms have air-conditioners, and the overcrowded buses feel like ovens, even for short rides. The infrastructure is outdated, and student comfort is clearly not a priority. The teachers are good and supportive, but the poor facilities make it hard to justify the cost"
