The Freethinking School and the Freethinking Foundation
Sandy is a trained Montessorian and an ex High School English teacher. She is overall in-charge of curriculum development, planning and training for the entire Freethinking School Group.
To ensure children continue their learning during Covid, she launched an elaborate Montessori at Home program training parents to teach their children at home through customized short videos and Montessori materials. She’s also instrumental in creating Freethinking Pods - a Micro Montessori setup inside large residential communities.
Through her vision to take Montessori to the Masses, she set up the world's first Montessori on Wheels, an initiative to help underserved children get “Education for Life” by making it accessible and taking learning beyond the four walls of a classroom.
This initiative was selected as one of the top 20 finalists of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA ) Solve 2022- LEAP Challenge. This initiative was also selected as the Winner for Impact and Change - Social Impact Award by the Montessori Group London.
