Children of any age derive a lot of joy from playing. However, it has been an equally common tendency of the guardians to feel that playing is a waste of time, a filler activity: something to be done between essential tasks or spare time. If the experts have to be believed, then a dedicated playtime can help kids build the habit of exploration, curiosity, observations, and empathy too. Play can be filled with thrill, excitement, observations, questioning, explorations, and sometimes the joy of discovery. In this session, we will discuss the importance of a curriculum that is the right mix of playing and learning and the role as parents to facilitate this process. There can be different ways of joyful learning like play, projects, inquiry, etc
