    "Sankara Vidyalaya is a well-known educational institution in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with multiple branches. It follows the teachings and philosophy of Adi Shankaracharya, an influential Indian philosopher, and is dedicated to providing quality education. Sankara Vidyalaya schools are known for their focus on both academic excellence and moral and ethical development. There is a Sankara Vidyalaya school located in Tambaram, a southern suburb of Chennai. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, this school was recognized for offering education from kindergarten through higher grades, and it was associated with the Chinmaya Mission, a spiritual and educational organization."

    "One of the worst school to ruin your life.. it's better you think twice before you even select this school. Instead of studies only thing they teach is bhajans ..which is useless.. worst teacher pools and principal oh no words to say the worst... There are other better schools to choose ...think wise"

    "Good school in this locality. All teachers are very professional and teaching is excellent . Extra curricular activities are also very good. Each child will get an individual attention here. Now, in this pandemic situation, the teaching method is very good. I am truly impressed how efficiently they are conducting virtual classes. I will appreciate all the teachers, Principal and management regarding the same. Overall, I am very happy with my son’s experience at SSGA, Keelkattalai"

    "I had high esteem on them for last few years. But off late I feel their teaching quality has degraded a little. They have moved to Pearson Certified IGCSE from Oxford Certified one. Post lockdown opening few qualified teachers left as well. May be these 2 might have trickled down the quality. Good: * Teacher's Responses are usually Good. * Teaching is good but has scope to Improve. In the name of giving confidence, teachers should not overlook the answers to award marks to the wards. This may lead to overconfidence in the wards. There should be a balance in this. * Safety Feeling which is very much important in these days for both Boys and Girls. Teachers and Staffs are well disciplined. Issues requiring their Attention: * The Global Academy really lack a PlayGround. The actual Play Ground of Sankara Matriculation School is Occasionally used by Global School during PT Periods alone. In all other times only a small Kinder Garden Playground or a small Verandah is what is available for people to play. So if your kids like Physical Sports, then you may need to think of Switching to another school with good Ground Facilities. * At the entrance of the School there are a huge amount of wires (Electrical, Cables, Etc) running in around 5 to 6 feet Height. Entrance is the usual place where parents and kids meet and is usually rushful. In such a place if any untoward accident with the wire happens, then can't imaging the loss. It would be better if the Global School Management takes steps to reroute the wires a little far from the School Entrance. * Please have multiple Vendors for School Uniform Stitching. Sticking to one Vendor and Forcing parents to Get the Uniform Stitched within a Stipulated time gives rise to suspicion that there is a commission nexus between the School and Vendor. The Vendor is also taking things Granted and having his say over parents to scramble around the Parents. Please stop being nexus with Stitching Vendors and give some options to Parents. Don't take things for Granted and Practise the Virtuousness that is Preached to wards. * Identify Talented and Inspiring Teachers and Retain them For Parents looking to Join their Wards newly to this School: * They are Very Religious Institution. Nothing bad in being like that, But wards of other faiths may not feel comfortable. For some this may be a Comfortable option too. Its your individual choice. * Very Limited Playground Option. Except for Kinder Garden, you can consider as if it is not there only. * Safe School from Kids Safety Standpoint. * Lack of School Arranged Transport. For some this may be a problem while for others it may not. Although there are private auto/van people ferrying kids to School, it doesn't give the safety net of School arranged transport. * Teaching wise the are a better school. Although they have scope to improve, I hope they improve over time."
