Our journey over the past year has been challenging, but the unwavering support and dedication of the school have made all the difference. When we admitted our son to Athena, we were planning to move to Semmencheri, as we were assured that our house would be ready by June of last year (2024). However, due to unforeseen delays, we had to continue living in Porur. This meant long daily commutes to school, which could have been exhausting for our son. Yet, thanks to the warmth, encouragement, and care provided by the teachers, he never once felt overwhelmed. What truly amazed us was the level of concern and commitment shown by the teachers. They were always checking in to ensure that our son did not miss out on school or homework. Their follow-ups were constant, and they made sure he stayed up to date with his notes. Not only did they provide individual attention, but they did so with a smile and an unwavering dedication that is truly rare to find. A special shout-out to his class teacher, Ms. Swetha, who has been nothing short of extraordinary. She has been the guiding force in ensuring my son’s education remained uninterrupted despite the challenges. Her patience, encouragement, and tireless efforts to coordinate everything so seamlessly are truly commendable. She has always gone the extra mile—whether it was helping him catch up on missed lessons, making sure he had all his notes, or simply offering a reassuring word. She did all of this with warmth, kindness, and a genuine passion for teaching. The way she made learning engaging and ensured he stayed motivated is something we will always be grateful for. A huge thank you to Ms. Ancy, his Math teacher, for her relentless dedication and commitment to making sure my son understood every concept. Math can be a challenging subject, but she made sure he never felt left behind. Her patient explanations, extra time spent clarifying doubts, and innovative teaching methods made all the difference. She took personal responsibility in ensuring he was up to speed, constantly encouraging him and making learning a joyful experience. It takes a special teacher to instill confidence in a student, and Ms. Ancy did just that. And above all, our deepest appreciation to Ms. Krithika, who has been the backbone of this entire process. From the very beginning, she ensured that everything went smoothly for us. She was always available, ready to address any concerns, and handled every situation with such efficiency and grace. Whether it was coordinating with teachers, facilitating smooth communication, or simply offering reassurance, her dedication was truly remarkable. Her efforts in making sure our son’s education remained uninterrupted, despite our challenging circumstances, have been nothing short of inspiring.
