In 1984, Dr. M. Gloria, a school Principal, and Dr. Y. John, a President, came to India with a vision to establish an institution that would serve as a hub for producing men and women who would spread Jesus' light in the dark corners of India. They believed that God would allow their foresight to come to fruition.

In 1998, the St. Paul High School was founded as the result of their faith and prayer. With Hebrew 11:1 in mind, "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see," Dr. M. Gloria started the St. Paul High School ministry with just one child.

As the school moved from a rented facility to a temporary building, Dr. M. Gloria never ceased to pray on her knees. Even when the rooftop leaked during the rain, the School Principal did not delay her cry out to the Lord, "Jesus, you know how desperately we need a permanent building." 

God answered her prayer and touched the hearts of many men and women of God in India, South Korea, and the United States to collaborate in building a 4-storey structure for the future of Indian boys and girls. Since then, the school has grown in leaps and bounds, and presently over 3000 students are excelling in academics in St. Paul High School. This is indeed a beautiful work of our amazing God.

So far, 24 batches have graduated from St. Paul High School, and the School Principal is planting more schools in Berikai, Andra Pradesh, Japaiguri, Nepal, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, and other places to share the same spirit, vision, and ethos throughout India.

Three years ago, St. Paul Group of Institutions was blessed with a Pre-University (PU) College program, which was established to help cultivate the future leaders of tomorrow. Now, the graduates of St. Paul High School can transition into St. Paul PUC and grow as sound academia.
