Periwinkle is a garden where young minds blossom to their natural abilities without the stress of forced learning. Periwinkle is one of the best play school in Uttarahalli, Banashankari and Srinagar. Periwinkle is a cheerful bright zone with caring teachers, classrooms filled with colorful playthings, and a vast outdoor to jump and play with joy. Our children learn in small groups with a maximum of 1:7 ratio and our emphasis is on emotional and social coaching. Our teachers are compassionate and loving. Every staff member provides an inspiring and joyful environment. Periwinkles, as we call our children, are from diverse family backgrounds come with a wealth of interests and abilities. Growing and learning in such a place would help our children get started on their lifelong adventure of learning.

People are entitled to their opinions and I would like to reciprocate to this matter through mine by conveying my child's experience in this school. We as parents choose the best schools for our kids for them to develop into independent and capable individuals. We admit them into these schools after thoroughly knowing about the school, its curriculum, fee structure, the environment, teachers and methodologies. So it is clear that we made a decision knowing all these details, however it is wrong to judge anybody at first sight when we are not co-operative. I have personally seen and talked to the teachers and counsellors in this school. They have their best intention for kids to learn in a happy and motivating environment and I appreciate their hard work. Another special thing about these teachers is that they give individual attention to kids and are not focused on stuffing information into their heads. They ensure the kids learn according to their age and adaptability. Sriranjini ma'am expressed that her child was not being thought enough for their age. The fact remains that these children are 2 to 4 years old and are toddlers. So it is natural for them to have more fun and learn simultaneously as much as required. We should not burden kids with lot of books and just academics at this age but make sure they understand the basic alphabets and concepts. I would also like to point out that if it was indeed so hard to cope with the ideologies of this school and if a parent couldn't understand this, they should have enrolled their child to another school. Why would they continue to send their child for two whole years and prolong the educational period. It is not necessary to create a commotion for certain small inconveniences that might arise sometimes and create a ruckus out of it. Please know your facts and communicate before passing such remarks that could affect the long running of any institution. My daughter was in the same class for both years and under the same teachers as of Shriranjini Ma’am’s child. Parents were given an overview of the curriculum and philosophies of Periwinkle Preschool since day one of admission. Along with PTM’s, parents have been guided by the management on early childhood essentials through periodical Parent-Prtnership programs. All our concerns and suggestions have been answered and enough scope was there to meet teachers and discuss one on one. I heartily thank Periwinkle Preschool for nurturing my little one for two years! This school has helped my child, not only in communication but as an avid learner to develop her overall personality. Having been brought up during the covid pandemic it was a little hard for my child to speak up, approach and mingle with other children. But now she can lead her peers in learning as well as co-curricular activities. She has transitioned from being a shy and hesitant kid to a smarter and bolder version and for this I am grateful to this institution and all the teachers who made this possible."

    "It's a very good Preschool. All teachers are friendly and they understand each and every child. My son would not speak to anyone, I was afraid that he would not socialize, but after going go Periwinkle he socialize and speak with everyone now, the teaching method in such a way that kids learn easily. Even in PTA teaches show us the materials which are used by them for teaching. In and all I can't express how greatful I am to the school, teachers and principal even the staff members for shaping my child to have a better future. Words are too less to describe about them."

    "NOT WORTH OF A SINGLE STAR AS WELL. But without a star Google doesn't allow to post the review. Morality - Teachers themselves have no morality. Dono what they teach kids. Teachers are Big liars. Just to defend themselves and their team. They just build up nice lie stories and fool people. Don't even care about children even when children are fighting and getting hurt. They will be in their own world enjoying their tea and coffees. Big pathetic situation is that they won't even know how and when the incidents/accidents happen in school. Their law is just to play hide and seek and fool parents. Curriculum- They bluff u saying they have Montessori and kindergarten Integrated learning. But they never follow that. They simply stop at tracing letters at nursery levels. No writing, no books, no home work, totally nothing learnt at nursery level. Just learning colours, reciting numbers till 10/20, alphabets phoenics, few rhymes are their curriculum which can be taught to children keeping them at home. Most of the children learn all this just depending on gadgets in this generation. Fees - Too much for what they provide compared to other schools in this locality. Fees is not at all worth for the teacing or caring they do here. No books, no home works, saturdays no working, just one bag and a pair of dress for the fee we pay. Report card - A non sense green card. Children are never assessed correctly. Grades are just as per the teacher's wish. No valid clarification from the teacher when questioned about the wrong credits. Value for parents - Very egoistic, arrogant attitudes towards parents. Never bother about parents feelings. Just know to snatch and loot money from parents. Never cares about any feedback or suggestions. Just force parents to put a positive feedback about school. Simply gives unwanted suggestions, compel parents to choose day care even if its not required. Security - highly insecure infrastructure. No cameras, no security guards. None knows what will happen inside. Just drop ur child and forget till the leaving time. Teachers are never on time to welcome children. Single house keeping staff to engage children in the morning. Meetings - Hardly 1 or 2 for the entire year!!! No track of what children learn in school. Even after 2 years of schooling we never know what's the school prayer, so called periwinkle rhyme etc etc., Teachers avoid to respond. When asked anything about progress they ask to meet them on Saturday. On Saturdays visit they ignore us keep themselves busy with their work and ask us to meet them on week days after 12pm. Worksheets and summer camp materials: No value for their own hard Work. Worksheets and summer camp materials are given back to parents like any use and throw papers. No file or bag to preserve them. Summer camp is also not worth of money what they charge. Day care food - worst. My son was in day care for 2 months and ended up with bad instestinal infection with hospital admission for 3 days. The so called counsellor/child psychologist Sushma doesn't even know how to speak with parents. Even on the last day of working putting harsh words on parents and hurting us. I dono why is she in this school. Keeping a counsellor at school it is so shameful that teachers complain on children without understanding them and teaching them in their understandable way. Its even more awkward that the management force parents to admit children to special training programmes, speech therapies, counsellings etc.,even if its not required. Finally congratulations to the new fools who are admitting ur children to this school. May god bless u & protect ur child."
