"This is my personal experience. This review is not intended to malign anyone but to create awareness so that positive changes can occur.
I found the principal to be arrogant and inconsiderate, while the warden appeared childish, intimidating, and insensitive in their behavior.
Recently, I visited a residential PU college with my friend from a village in North Karnataka. The boy’s parents, who don’t speak English, had requested my help to guide them through the process.
Initially, everything went well. The parents liked the sprawling 90-acre campus with its lush greenery, well-maintained facilities, and inviting atmosphere. It was undoubtedly impressive.
The boy took an entrance test and attended a personal interaction. The Math teacher we met during the interaction was kind, friendly, and encouraging, which reassured the parents about the teaching staff.
For the final interaction, we waited patiently for the principal, who was busy with another task. Meanwhile, the warden informed us that the boy had passed the test and was eligible for admission. This made the parents hopeful and eager to proceed.
When we entered the principal’s cabin, he asked the boy several questions. Despite his rural background, the boy tried his best to answer in English. To our surprise, the principal didn’t know the location of the boy’s village and mistook it for a place in Andhra Pradesh, which was surprising.
The principal then asked about me, and I explained that I was there to assist my friend’s family. He invited us to ask questions. I inquired, “How does the college handle possible discrimination against students from rural backgrounds by urban or affluent peers?”
This was a genuine question based on the parents’ concerns about their son’s well-being. It was meant to seek assurance and ensure the boy would have a positive experience.
To our shock, the principal seemed visibly disturbed. Instead of addressing the question, he pressed a bell, called the warden, and instructed us rudely to ask “such questions” to the warden and not in his cabin. His dismissive reaction was disheartening.
When we spoke to the warden afterward, he was equally aggressive. He questioned why we had asked the principal and not him. I explained that I wasn’t aware of any such restrictions. The warden then stated the application wasn’t signed and suggested we call later to check the admission status, leaving us feeling humiliated.
We left with a sense of frustration and insult—all over a single, innocent question meant to address valid concerns. The parents simply wanted to ensure their son would have a supportive environment during his two years at the college.
Later, when we called the college to follow up, the response from the admin team was vague and unconvincing. They asked us to call again, which only solidified our disappointment.
After reading reviews about the college, we realized:
The college does not address or clarify concerns raised in reviews.
There appears to be a bias against people asking genuine or critical questions.
The staff seem to exert undue control over parents, making them hesitant to speak freely.
I cannot comment on the teaching or overall hostel experience as we didn’t proceed further. However, during our visit, we noticed that the hostel, while adequate, was cramped, with six boys sharing a room and an unpleasant odor. The warden unapologetically described strict rules, fines, and reprimands, creating an intimidating atmosphere even in front of the boy.
The campus itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and equipped with excellent facilities such as playgrounds and gardens. This aspect certainly stands out positively.
This review highlights the disappointing behavior of the principal and warden, whose actions left us deeply upset and questioning the administration’s approach.
The treatment we feared for the boy and inquired about was ultimately inflicted upon us."

"My son studied at Christ Junior Residential College, and the experience was deeply disappointing. While the campus and food are decent, the IB program is terrible. Most faculty members are incapable of teaching even the basics, which is unacceptable for a demanding curriculum like IB. The teachers are poorly paid, lack proper training, and their heavy Malayalam accents make communication difficult. Compared to top IB schools like TISB, Stonehill, or CIS, this college doesn't even come close. If you're serious about pursuing IB, avoid this place—it fails to meet the most basic standards of quality education. They have not had a single student in their history score above 42 out of 45 in IB exams. Also, they don't have more than 15 to 20 students each year as nobody goes there for IB.
Don't fall for the campus. Everything inside is TERRIBLE."

"The campus is astonishing. Best in Bengaluru may be Karnataka too. The discipline is phenomenal. Gaming is a routine. Grounds and facilities are topnotch.
As per the talks outside this campus is one of the bests in Economics for PUC students.
Engineering campus is also in the same campus I loved it. The concern is fees are bit extravagant.
No hostel facilities for the girls PUC students.
It’s in outskirts of the city and the weather is awesome there."

"Worst collage. maybe the interior might be good but the receptionist are very rude in talking and dont explain much about campus. They are expecting to give 7.5 laks for 1st year. Waste don't apply. It's all showoff"
