About School

St. Vincent Pallotti (1795-1850) was born in Rome on April 21, 1795, to Petro Paolo Pallotti and Maria Maddalena De Rosa. Pallotti's spirituality was centered on humility, and he found joy in God's infinite love and mercy. He responded to the material and spiritual needs of those in need, including the young and old, men and women, sick and poor.

Pallotti founded the Union of the Catholic Apostolate, an organization that allowed laity, religious, and clergy to join and accorded equal merit to every work undertaken by them. He knew that without the cooperation of others, he would not be able to help those in need. He was a visionary who dreamed of educating the uneducated, and he actively participated in educating children and young people.

The Society of the Catholic Apostolate (The Pallottines) was founded over 150 years ago. Today, the Pallottines have educational institutions in 46 countries worldwide, including Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Jharkhand, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka in India. St. Vincent Pallotti School Bengaluru Karnataka was established in the year 2000 with the vision to provide 'Education through Service.' Rev. Fr. Philip Ettamparampil SAC took the initiative to purchase the land at Babusahibpalya, and Rev. Fr. Paul D'Souza, the Founder-Principal of the School, assisted him. SVPS has grown into a premier institution with the goal of combining discipline with a love for learning and a holistic approach.

The School is a co-ed institution that initially aimed to cater to the educational needs of boys and girls from rural and semi-urban backgrounds. The school follows the ICSE/ISC pattern of education, and the name SVPS is synonymous with quality education with a human touch. Over the past eighteen years, the school has grown from seven students to approximately 3,100 students.

At SVPS, students are nurtured to ignite their passions, and our passing out students' success stories speak for themselves. They are well-placed in India's top organizations, and we provide them with a platform and foundation for achieving their goals. Our ultimate goal for each student is to grow and develop into a good human being, not just an academic. To this end, we have the best infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities, and excellent and dedicated faculty who encourage, motivate, guide and cultivate habits of self-learning, inquiry, teamwork, and leadership. At the helm is our dedicated, committed, loving, caring, and generous Principal, who leaves no stone unturned to get the best out of every student who comes under his guardianship of this ever-happening institution.St. Vincent Pallotti (1795-1850) was born to Petro Paolo Pallotti and Maria Maddalena De Rosa in Rome on April 21, 1795.At the core of Pallotti’s spirituality was his humility, and his joy sprung from his overwhelming awareness of God’s infinite love and mercy. This love urged him to respond to the material and spiritual needs of those in need: young and old, men and women, sick and poor.

Pallotti knew that without the cooperation of others, he would not be able to help those in need. God saw Pallotti’s deep desire to help others and inspired him to found the Union of the Catholic Apostolate, an organization that extended equal membership to the laity, the religious and the clergy, and accorded equal merit to every work undertaken by them.

From humble beginnings, we have grown into a premier institution today, with the goal to combine discipline with love for learning and with a holistic approach.

The School is a co-ed school, originally started with the aim of catering to the educational need of boys and girls from rural and semi-urban background. The start-off lucky number was seven students. From there we have grown by leaps and bounds these past eighteen years and the present day strength stands at approximately 3,100 students. The school follows the ICSE/ISC pattern of education and the name SVPS is synonymous with quality education with a human touch.

At SVPS we nurture to ignite and this fact is borne out with the success stories of our passing out students, who are today well-placed in India’s top organisations. At SVPS we give our students a platform and foundation for achievement of their goals. Their futures are assured and our reward is watching them grow into real human beings in every sense of the word.

We continue to motivate our children to turn their challenges into opportunities and never look back, be it academics, sport, inter-school competitions or socio-cultural activities. Just being an academic is never enough for a Pallottian, but to grow and develop into a good human being is our ultimate goal for each student. To this end, we have the best infrastructure, state of the art facilities and excellent and dedicated faculty, who will spare no one, not even themselves to encourage, to motivate, to guide and to cultivate habits of self-learning, enquiry, teamwork and leadership. At the helm is our dedicated, committed, loving, caring and generous Principal, who will leave no stone unturned to get the best out of every one who come under his guardianship of this ever-happening institution.
