St. Francis de Sales Public School was established in the academic year 2004-05. It is managed and run by the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales (MSFS) congregation of South West India Province.
The primary objectives of SFS are:
- To provide a quality education that equips students with academic knowledge and skills.
- To instill basic moral values in students.
- To develop physical skills through sports and other physical activities.
- To prepare students for responsible citizenship and adulthood by instilling the norms and values of society.
- To teach students how to develop thinking skills and conduct research, making them excellent problem solvers and creative thinkers capable of adapting to change.
- To expose children to various sources from which they can glean vast amounts of knowledge.
- To help students attain self-fulfillment.
