Education is one of the most essential keys to survival in life. A vast amount of time and energy in one’s life is spent on education. Out of many options for survival, education is the most important and powerful means. This is why people emphasize access to good education around the globe, because a conducive educational environment means a better life and a way of survival.

Information and knowledge can be shared, taught, and learned, but mere learning may not lead to productivity. Productivity happens when the information and knowledge are internalized. Internalization is the process of learning something so that it can be used as the basis of production. When language is internalized, it can be retained and retrieved when needed for communication. If education is not internalized, it ends with examinations, and one cannot produce what they have not internalized.

St. Claret Educational Society was influenced by the societal vision of St. Anthony Mary Claret, who tried all possible means to impart positive values into the lives of people, to effect holistic transformation within them.

St. Claret School, Jalahalli (SCSJ), is managed by St. Claret Educational Society of the Claretian Missionary Fathers of the Province of Bangalore. The school was inaugurated on June 01, 1988, by the then Provincial Superior of the Claretians, Rev Fr George Nedumpalakunnel, CMF. SCSJ follows the Karnataka State Syllabus in academics.

Over the years, the school has grown to become a center for excellence in the formation of the intellect and personality of young children. The school has consistently achieved cent percent results in the SSLC Examinations.

Currently, the SCSJ Campus has four wings. The Play Home is an ideal home away from home for tiny tots where they learn language, personal and interpersonal skills, good manners, and etiquette through play, fun, and frolic. The Primary School Section provides a firm and formal grounding in various subjects and languages, while helping children cultivate their personality. The High School is a temple of learning with a tradition of excellence in academics and co-curricular endeavors, committed to the pursuit of the synergy of intellect and character.
