SREE VASAVI VIDYA PEETHA

Sri.L. Sachidananda Prasad founded the Sree Vasavi Vidya Peetha school in Vijayanagar in 1980. The school started with one student, one teacher, and one classroom. Today, the institution educates approximately 500 students from Pre-Nursery to Standard 10th.

The school has a highly qualified, experienced, and committed teaching faculty. Its physical infrastructure is excellent, with spacious and well-ventilated classrooms. The school's laboratory is equipped with standard facilities, including a projector and screen, and various models related to biology, modern equipment of physics and chemistry. Students from class 5th to 10th benefit from the guidance of experienced science teachers.

The school also has a well-planned library consisting of around 4000 books, including storybooks, encyclopedias, biographies, and reference books of various streams. It provides computer education from class 1st to 10th with a well-equipped computer lab. Additionally, the school has an excellent auditorium named "Samskruthi," with a capacity of 100 seats. It is equipped with modern facilities such as a projector, home theatre, and stylish lights to give special effects during cultural events.

Apart from academics, the school emphasizes sports, yoga, and co-curricular activities. It celebrates National Festivals, Ganesha, and Saraswathi Pooja to instill traditional values in young minds. Every year, an excursion is arranged, and scholarships, mementos, and cash prizes are awarded to meritorious students by the management.
