The Vidyasagar Educational Trust was established by K.E.Ch. Vidyasagar B.A. and Mrs. Manorama M.A, PG Dip in Education, who have over 25 years of experience in the educational field. The trust was registered on June 9, 1999. The trustees are educated intellectuals who hold high positions in society. The founders opened the Silicon Valley School to provide quality education to the middle-class population in the semi-urban area of Bangalore city. These are mostly migrants from other states or people who have moved to the outskirts due to the high cost of living in the city. The school started with only seven students, but it has grown to accommodate 400 students in 15 years.

The school has constantly improved in terms of infrastructure and academic excellence. It is proud of its experienced, qualified, and passionate teaching staff. The school conducts various co-curricular activities, sports activities, community service, and fieldwork throughout the year. Its interactive teaching methodology and consistent 100% results in the Board Examinations have earned it a good reputation. The students of the school excel in various intra-school and inter-school activities. The school received permanent affiliation in 2015 by the ICSE board with affiliation number Ka-196. It has implemented the ICSE rules, regulations, and syllabus as per the council standards. The school offers Employee Welfare Schemes and social responsibility Schemes, including free education for needy poor children, cash awards, and scholarships for merit students. The school has also incorporated RTE act, which includes 25% free and compulsory education.
