SILICON VALLEY SCHOOL

The Vidyasagar Educational Trust was established by K.E.Ch. Vidyasagar B.A. and Mrs. Manorama M.A, PG Dip in Education, who have over 25 years of experience in the education field. The Trust was registered on June 9th, 1999. The trustees are educated intellectuals who hold high positions in society. The founders opened the SILICON VALLEY SCHOOL due to the lack of quality education in the semi-urban area of Bangalore. The area consists of a middle-class population of migrants from other states or people who have moved to the outskirts of the city due to the high cost of living. The founders wanted to provide quality education to this section of society. The school started with only seven students, but it has grown to 400 students in 15 years.

The school has continuously grown in terms of infrastructure and academic excellence. The school is proud of its experienced, qualified, and passionate teaching staff. Throughout the year, the school conducts co-curricular activities, sports activities, community service, fieldwork, and more. The interactive teaching methodology of the school and consistent 100% results in the Board Examinations have earned it a good reputation. Our students shine in both intra-school and inter-school activities. The school obtained permanent affiliation in 2015 by the ICSE board. The affiliation number is Ka-196, and the school follows the ICSE rules and regulations and syllabus as per the Council Standards. The school has incorporated Employee Welfare Schemes and social responsibility Schemes by providing free education for needy poor children every year, cash awards, and scholarships for meritorious students. The school has also incorporated the RTE act, which includes 25% free and compulsory education.
