As educators, it is important for us to not only teach but also be lifelong learners ourselves. We should cultivate and cherish our own qualities of warmth, openness, maturity, and enthusiasm to better understand our world and actively participate in positive actions. By taking care of our own well-being, we can radiate our vitality and create a joyful learning environment for both children and adults.
With this belief in mind, Prakriya has developed various methods to support the learning and personal growth of our teachers. Two Saturdays per month are dedicated to workshops, sharing, reflection, collaboration, and planning. Retreats, process labs, feedback, book review sessions, and mentoring provide opportunities for teachers to gain self-awareness and jointly promote a philosophy of meaningful living and a lively work culture.
