The Poornaprajna Education Centre is an esteemed institution that operates under the aegis of Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council. It was founded by H.H. Sri Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji, the Pontiff of the Admar Mutt, who served as the President and has been a source of inspiration and guidance. Currently, the institution is headed by H.H. Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji, President of the Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council.
The school is located in a beautiful locality and has a large playground. It is a co-educational, English Medium Institution that follows the state pattern. The school has well-equipped instructional Laboratories, a Library, Reading Room, Computer Lab, and Vocational Training Facilities.
To ensure the safety of students, the school has adequate safety measures like CCTVs, high compound walls, monitoring of visitors, and overall supervision of the premises. The school also abides by all the necessary guidelines in accordance with the directives from the Department of Education.
The main objective of the centre is to enable students to grow freely in clean and healthy surroundings, developing their inherent qualities, and instilling in them a sense of righteousness, discipline, and duty to society and the motherland. The school prepares them for good future citizenship by promoting the development of the intellect, spirit, mind, and body. To maintain high standards of physical health, coaching is given in games like Volleyball, Basketball, Football, and Table Tennis. PE classes, including Mass PT, are conducted as part of the regular schedule.
The Centre participates in Science Exhibitions, Seminars, Art and Painting competitions, Debates, Sports, and Athletics conducted by the Department of Education, Karnataka, and private bodies.
