Lorven Educational Centre was established in the year 2001 by a group of experienced academicians. Prior to this, they formed a trust called Lord Venkateshwara Ladies Educational and Welfare Trust in 2000. The members of this trust, after their long and successful careers in the education field, decided to build an educational institution that would cater to the needs of students in rural and suburban areas. Thus, LORVEN was built in Chandapura, Anekal Taluk, in the Bangalore suburban district, with a name given in reverence to the Lord.
The college is situated in a peaceful rural area, and is conveniently located within 5 km of Electronic City, the software hub of Bangalore. All campuses are well connected to all parts of the city, making it accessible to students from neighboring districts as well as the city.
Under the able administration of its founders, the institution is growing and has taken great strides in creating infrastructure facilities and equipping itself to handle different courses offered by it. It is poised to progress further in the coming years.
