GOOD SHEPHERD CONVENT

Education is considered as the greatest treasure that humanity possesses as it helps develop the human personality. Good Shepherd School in Bangalore has been striving hard to make St. Agnes’ vision a reality by imparting an all-round education based on Christian principles and values to the students. The school was established in the year 1854-55 and is recognized as a private unaided institution run by the Sisters of Good Shepherd convent, registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960. The school is located on Museum Road, Bangalore, Karnataka State, India and has a spacious building where classes are conducted in English. The academic year of the school starts from June and ends in April, and there are three vacations in a year - Summer vacation (about 6 weeks), Dasara (about 10 days), and Christmas vacation (about 2 weeks). The school focuses on providing sound moral training to the pupils through religious and moral instruction classes which are a part of the curriculum. The motto of the school is to encourage the students to do well in all that they do.
