EKALAVYA SCHOOL , NS PALYA

Ekalavya School is located in NS Palya and was established in 2007 as one of the ICFAI Republic Schools for students from LKG to Class V. The school's objective is to provide quality education to children from slums attending the school from one of the 3 slums in NS Palya. Currently, the school has a strength of 265 students.

The school is located on the first floor of the building in NS Palya and has 10 classrooms, as well as separate rooms for the Headmistress, Administration, and academic staff. The school environment is designed to facilitate education with well-ventilated classrooms, educational aids, and user-friendly toilets. The library has a range of children's books, reference books, CDs, and educational materials that are designed to stimulate curiosity and the reading habit in children. Additionally, the school has a compact and well-designed AV room and science lab. Furthermore, the school is equipped with firefighting systems and CCTV cameras. A water purifier is installed and maintained regularly to provide pure drinking water to staff and students. Lastly, students receive mid-day meals from Akshaya Patra every day.
