Maria De Mattias founded the religious congregation called 'The Sisters Adorers of the Blood of Christ' in 1834 in Acuto, Italy. Today, it has become an international organization that provides services in many countries such as Italy, Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Korea, and Peru. The congregation's objective is to spread Christ's love to humanity in need, and the Adorers live among people in a hospitable and simple lifestyle, promoting reconciliation and solidarity.
The Sisters Adorers of the Blood of Christ has established many educational institutions around the world. In 1982, a dedicated group of nuns from this order established Aradhana Academy, a co-educational Christian institution in modest surroundings. Today, the school is widely known for its academic excellence, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and sylvan surroundings that blend learning with nature, providing a unique educational experience to each student.
